So you can't really see the bump here, but I thought its a good photo and it was taken at the 15 week mark. It was taken by Paynie at the New Year's Eve Moulin Rouge party.
Had another docs appointment this week, this one was for the AFP blood panel which is genetic testing for birth defects. Again, this will let us know if there is an increased likelihood of birth defects. It just comes back positive or negative, so if its positive we'll have to decide if we want to do further testing, including the amniocenteses. We should have results in about two weeks.
We have our next ultrasound scheduled for January 28th. This is the one that will, hopefully, tell us the sex of the baby! I say hopefully because he/she may be bashful and covering up, or not in the right position. Lets hope little Squishy is cooperative!
