So yes, the belly is getting BIG, as are other parts of me.
Overall I'm feeling pretty good, I was having some severe pelvic pain a couple of weeks ago. Started off feeling like a 300lb lumberjack had kicked me between the legs. While I COULD walk, it hurt to go more than a few dozen steps and generally by the time I got to where I was going I was near tears.
I did go to the doctor, and while they couldn't tell me what it WAS, they could tell me what it wasn't. So no infections, no risk for pre-term labor and no broken pelvis. Basically recommended I continue to stretch, wear a maternity belt and try to walk when I can. I've been taking it pretty easy, not walking to work, but doing my stretches, pelvic tilts and such and its gradually getting better.
Getting the baby's changer/dresser this week, so once that is here we'll have all the major baby furniture. It will just be a matter of moving the office furniture and supplies downstairs to the foyer, securing the items in the "loft / attic" above the nursery and then painting and cleaning the room. I also need to go buy the fabric for her bedding, I was planning on sewing it myself, but I'm starting to worry my sewing skills may not be up to par, so I may have to break down and hire someone after all.
So ... yes, there's quite a bit we still have to do and I'm getting a little frustrated at how slowly we're progressing. But we are progressing, and I'm hopeful that we can start moving on things a little bit faster.
We still haven't settled on a name for her, but we have a few ideas. We welcome any suggestions anyone has for pretty, unique but not weird, girl names.
