the bump : 15 weeks
So you can’t really see the bump here, but I thought its a good photo and it was taken at the 15 week mark. It was taken by Paynie at the New Year’s Eve Moulin Rouge party. Had another docs appointment this week, this one was for the AFP blood panel which is genetic testing for birth defects. the bump : 12 Weeks
We had our 12 week ultrasound today. This was when they were going to do the NT (Nuchal Translucency) scan. Basically they measure the accumulation of fluid at the back of the baby’s neck. If there is a large build up it can be an indication of birth defects such as Down’s Syndrome. Our baby had a beautiful thin little line of fluid, well within the normal range. And let me tell...
