Someone thinks she's royalty or something, getting all comfy on her own little purple silk bed. (Otherwise known as my pillow.)

A week after I found puddin, the day we're to leave for our vacation, Tim hears another little cry from the neighbors yard. Knowing full well that its another kitten, and being the Hero he is, he goes and rescues her. She's been out there a full week longer than puddin was, and was in worse condition.

Puddin was a rescue kitten I found in Tim's neighbor's back yard. One morning I heard him crying, and at first I tried to tell myself it wasn't a kitten crying in distress, but I couldn't ignore it and finally went to go find him.
After a few minutes of confused searching, I realized he was on the ROOF of the neighbor's garage, which was luckily low enough and I could see the kitten sitting up there crying. I walked up to the edge, reached up and called, "Here kitty, kitty, kitty" not thinking the scared little guy would actually come to me. But he did, full speed, right into my hands. As soon as I had him I realized his eyes were completely crusted over, and he couldn't see a thing. He had just blindly run to me, crying the entire time, until I put him up against my heart, when he stopped crying and started purring. He was so young, probably only about 3-4 weeks old.
Needless to say, I brought the little guy home. His eyes were pretty bad, but I was able to gently clean the gook up and they opened just fine. My mom gave me some very mild antibiotic eye drops that really helped as well. We took care of him for a few weeks, (as you can see from the photos, he was well looked after) until we went on vacation and a friend of mine came over to house sit him and our other two cats. She fell in love with him (as was my plan all along) and adopted him!
