So it was my last day of work before I went on maternity leave. Sophia's original due date was June 22, but since she refused to turn we had a scheduled c-section for  the morning of June 15th. This gave me exactly a week to finish organizing her room, wash her laundry, put together the cosleeper, finish packing our bags, etc.

Located off of Santa Monica Blvd, between and 20th and 23rd Street.  Driving directions can be found here

Click on the image above for details:

A. This is Public Parking, the cost is approximately $7.00 an hour with a $12.00/day max. They take cash and checks only, no cards. If you do not have cash there is an ATM in the Pharmacy and one right near the parking structure exit.

B. This is the Valet parking which is $12.00 per visit/per day (so if you leave and come back an hour later, its another $12.00). I believe there is a $30 24hr in/out pass you can purchase as well if you plan to be hanging out for any length of time and don't want to park in the far lot.

C. This is where Labor and Delivery is located, in the McAlister Women's Health Center on level four of the Chan Soon-Shiong Center for Life Sciences.

So we went for another 3D/4D ultrasound today (first one was on Friday) and she's still not cooperating. She's still lying transverse, with her head on my right side and her bum on my left. She had a hand in front of her face, as well as the umbilical cord and a FOOT. She's very bendy.

The U/S guy tried for 40 minutes each time to get the shot, but she just would not move. We paid extra for the extended U/S with the guarantee, and thank goodness we did since she's being so shy. I think they usually only give you one extra shot at it, but b/c there are no physiological reasons not to get the shot (fluid is clear, not obese, placenta is in position) he's having us back to try again.

Yes, those would be my feet. Woke up with them so fat and swollen with giant rings of puffiness where my ankles used to be and little creases at the base of each toe. Its so bad, its actually comical.

Other than that, I'm doing pretty well. The pelvic pain has gotten a bit better, and I can walk a bit easier than I could before so I'm happy about that. Some back pain, but its been pretty mild to-date. My eczema has flared up so I've been trying to deal with that, but I recently found out from my doctor that I CAN treat it with my normal eczema cream, so I've pretty much been suffering through this for no reason. I now just have to get the refill take care of.

I also had my gestational diabetes test this week, and I passed with no problem (scored a 100) so all is well in the 28th week!
