Giveaway - Pecola

As we entered into the pandemic early this year, I found myself with a lot of free time, but very little inspiration. I very much wanted to paint, but the weight of the world made it hard for me to find the passion. I bridged the gap between desire and inspiration by taking several paint workshops. It gave me the focus and direction I was lacking at the time, and fulfilled my need to create.

In some of the workshops I created art that was very much my own, but in others the works were copies of other artists creations. Over the next several weeks I will be giving away several of these workshop creations.

For today's giveaway, I am offering ‘Pecola’, from the workshop Whole, Worthy, Loved by Tamara Laporte – mixed media 10" x 15" on heavy watercolor paper.
